You're an extraordinary individual with your own goals, so an ordinary master's program is not enough. AU's one-of-a-kind PSM program offers a flexible curriculum that lets you customize your program to fit your interests and career goals. Choose one of three tracks of specialization: health policy, computational, or management. In addition to your internship, you can choose to complete your capstone project with a research or consulting project. With interdisciplinary course offerings and numerous options, AU has the master's program that's right for you.
The curriculum includes rigorous training in statistical theory and methods; basic knowledge of a biomedical specialty area; experience in a team science setting, either in an independent study, an internship, or a short-term research rotation in a specific clinic or lab; training in communication, management and leadership skills; and research ethics.
You can start in the spring or fall semester. Most classes are offered in the late afternoon or evening, so you can study full time or as a part-time student while you work. AU makes it easy to make your master's program fit your schedule.
