Welcome to American University’s new Web site—which shows the vibrancy of the AU community. In addition to our fresh new look, the features make AU’s students, scholars, activities, and outreach come alive through news, features, photos, and color.

A master calendar tracks ways to participate in the life of the campus, and our interactive component—AUPedia—lets our community engage in the tools of Web 2.0 and shared voice communications.  

We are proud of our new window on AU—and equally pleasing was the way the project evolved over the past two years as a campus-wide collaboration. More than 100 people from all corners of campus were involved in the design, structure, content creation, and features development—working above and beyond for the site to go live. That speaks highly of the collegial community that AU is and that you are (or can be) part of.
