Established in 1947, the Washington Semester® Program is an experiential learning academic program that includes 8 credits of academic seminar in one of 12 topic areas, 4 credits of internship, and 3-4 credits of independent research or elective course.
Students gain hands-on skills interning for nine weeks in Washington DC with a professional organization and augment their hands-on experience by attending a seminar once a week in their field of study.
